Frequently asked questions
Here are some common questions about our services to help you understand better.
Private vs. Insurance Care. Why is private better?
Private care allows for fully customized therapy without the limitations of
insurance policies. This means clients receive care from the same therapist each session, with more flexibility in scheduling, duration, and treatment methods. By not accepting insurance, we’re able to offer full flexibility in tailoring your care — from the frequency and length of sessions to the treatment methods we use — ensuring it’s designed entirely around each person.

What can I expect during the evaluation and treatment process?
We begin with a comprehensive and thorough evaluation using clinical
observation, standardized testing, and patient and/or caregiver report. From there, we design and implement a completely individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. By the end of our time together, you will receive a customized home program — along with full instruction — to continue building progress at home.

What does the average weekly session look like?
Weekly sessions can vary, but therapy intensives typically involve 2-4
hours/day (1-2 hours in the morning, then 1-2 hours in the afternoon), Monday through Friday, for 1-2 weeks. These sessions focus on consistent, targeted interventions that accelerate progress and skill development. Traditional therapy may follow a similar structure based on the client’s individualized plan.
